This tendency has consequences for both humans and the environment, and Ry Sengefabrik is therefore driven by re-thinking the meaning of the bed. We wish to explore the holistic potential of the bed starting with sustainable quality, working through ideas about the analogue bedroom and finally including profound research into the soothing qualities of materials.
If a bed is to solve the challenges related to the sleep disorders of today, it has to be more than just a relieving bed rest for the body. It must be the place where slowness and mental peace unite as a counterbalance to our hectic world.
